Everyone deserves a decent place to live
| $1,000 | Buys a washer and dryer; allows a family to do laundry while making dinner or doing homework in the comfort of their own home |
| $500 | Provides a homeownership preparation workshop for future homeowners as part of a broader menu of classes; ensures success and longevity at home. |
| $250 | Rebuilds a homeowner’s basement stairs and installs a handrail; improves structural stability, safety and accessibility |
| $100 | Buys three panels of yard fencing; provides a safe place for kids to be kids |
| $50 | Buys the painting supplies to repaint a rebuilt front porch; contributes to the revitalization of a home, block, and neighborhood |
| $25 | Buys a weatherization kit to keep a door sealed and draft free; keeps home energy efficient and lowers utility bills for homeowners |

Cars for Homes
Donate a vehicle to Cars for Homes – Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence and East Bay’s car donation program – to help support local families.
Your car donation is one more way that you can support our work in of Greater Providence, and across the Rhode Island Area. Our car donation program makes it quick and easy to get rid of your car. And, your donation may also be tax deduction.
We accept cars, trucks, RV’s, vans, SUV’s, boats, and motorcycles, whether they are running or not. Towing is free!

There are many ways to support Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence and East Bay beyond a traditional one-time donation.
Monthly Giving – Lay the Foundation of Support
Rather than making a one-time gift, consider a smaller amount that fits into your monthly budget. The typical influx of donations to Habitat is seasonal, but the organization benefits immensely when you choose to support us year-round. The consistent support provided through Monthly Giving allows Habitat to plan ahead and pour more foundations, raise more walls, and welcome more families home throughout the year! That means your contribution will go farther to help more Greater Providence families!
Planned Giving – Make a Lasting Gift
There are a variety of ways to make a planned gift to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence and East Bay, both during the donor’s lifetime and/or through a will or living trust.
Types of planned gifts include Securities, IRA charitable rollover, bargain sale, charitable lead trust, bequest, retirement plan, retained life estate, charitable gift annuity, and charitable remainder trust.

Tribute Gifts – Honor or Remember a Loved One
Tribute gifts can be made to honor or remember an individual or family. When you make a tribute gift to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence and East Bay, we will send an acknowledgment letter to the honoree(s), and their name will be included in our Annual Report.

Used Construction Material Donation
ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, building materials, appliances, and home accessories to the public at a fraction of the retail price. We currently partner with the Rhode Island South County Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore program.
Stock Donation
You or your company can make a tax-deductible gift by donating stock, stock options, or other investments.
