The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence (HabitatPVD) Board of Directors welcomes Amar Gurivireddygari as its newest board member.

“Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence is very excited to welcome Amar Gurivireddygari to the Board of Directors,” said Board President, John Meara. “Amar brings a wealth of knowledge in data and analytics. In addition, he has a big heart coupled with a strong desire to help those in need. We are excited to see how he applies his unique and expansive skill set to further Habitat’s mission and better our community.”

The organization sees great alignment with Mr. Gurivireddygari’s skill set and knowledge in the healthcare sector as the organization focuses on bridging the gap between health and housing.

“Housing is an important social determinant of health, recognizing the range of ways in which a lack of housing, or poor-quality housing, can negatively affect health and wellbeing,” said Mr. Gurivireddygari. I believe in the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence and am excited for the opportunity to be on the board in supporting affordable housing in Rhode Island.”
